Travel Juicer ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application.

Email address and name (when you create an account)
Google account information (if you sign in with Google)

Trip Data

Trip details you create (destinations, dates, itineraries)
Booking information you share (hotels, flights, transport)
Expenses and budget information
Documents and photos you upload
Messages in group and AI chats

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the Travel Juicer service
To process and display your trip information
To enable group collaboration features
To power AI-assisted travel planning
To send relevant notifications about your trips
To display personalized travel recommendations
To show advertisements (via Google AdMob)

3. AI Features

Travel Juicer uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to provide travel assistance. When you use the AI chat:

Your messages and trip context are sent to our secure server
The AI processes your request and returns suggestions
We do not use your conversations to train AI models
Your API key is never stored on your device

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Trip members: Other users you invite to your trips can see shared trip data
Service providers: Supabase (database), Anthropic (AI), Google (ads and analytics)
Affiliate partners: When you click booking links, the partner site may receive a referral code (no personal data is shared)
Legal requirements: When required by law

5. Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to show relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings under Privacy > Advertising.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (cloud infrastructure)
All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
We implement row-level security to protect your data
Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data
Delete your account and all associated data (Settings > Delete Account)
Export your trip data
Opt out of personalized advertising

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Travel Juicer is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or email.
